"The focus of my work is the unnoticed. Concentrating on the natural world and in particular the beauty of pattern and colours that are found in rocks and lichens which often go unnoticed. Their hues and vibrancies are a constant in the world around us and although they filter into our everyday lives we readily fail to appreciate them. By making my work vibrant and aesthetically interesting I draw attention to the beauty that surrounds us, creating bold, colourful and interesting pieces of art."
